If you use ChatGPT to create or edit text, this must be cited. An in-text citation should be used after the text from ChatGPT, and then ChatGPT must also be listed in your bibliography or references list. Click here for more information on how to cite AI. Here is an example from APA:

First off, make sure your teacher is okay with you using AI for the task you're working on. If yes, your teacher will need to be know exactly which parts of your work came from AI, and the AI needs to be cited in your bibliography.
