Story Walk

What is a Story Walk?

It's simple ... you get to read a story while you go for a walk! Follow the map below to read a story spread out across the campus. This can be done as a whole class, in small groups, or by yourself!

Family Fun Day

Mother Tongue Read Alouds

Parents are invited to be part of ISZL Reads by sharing stories in their home language during our EY1&2 Outdoor Learning sessions. This is a wonderful opportunity for EY1 & 2 to enjoy stories in our diverse languages in a relaxed setting.

Lunch Time Poems @ the Umbrella

Tuesday Lunch Time Poems: Join Mrs Raudzus under the umbrella and listen to poems that might have you laughing or rhyming! Then join her in creating your own poems to share under the umbrella. (12-1 pm on both Tuesday 12 and 19 November)

Travelling Read Aloud

Get ready to bring The Big Umbrella to life! This year’s ISZL Reads is all about creativity with our Travelling Read Aloud. Classes and small groups can add their unique touch—whether it's soundscapes, stop-motion, performances, or even translating into German.

Buddy Reading

Buddy Reading is back! Please check the schedule and mark your calendar with your assigned Buddy Reading time. Please be on time so as not to keep your reading buddies waiting. All you need to bring is yourselves! (the schedule can be found on the BR Week 1 and BR Week 2 tabs)

VIP Readers

Invite a special guest from the ISZL staff into your room to read aloud to your class. Readings can be in English or a language the readers speaks.

Teachers sign up here to request VIP readers for your class or to be a VIP Reader.
